David W. Wolfe is an associate attorney practicing in all areas of civil litigation. He works closely with partners Ravn Whitington, Jim Simon, Pete Cuttitta and Lou Basile. Dave began his legal career in Oakland working on high damage plaintiff-side personal injury cases, and then transitioned into defense-side litigation on behalf of multi-national corporations and insurance companies. After moving to the North Bay, Dave began to focus his practice on general civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate and construction litigation, and served as the Chair of the Real Property Section of the Marin County Bar Association. Dave’s broad litigation background also includes class action lawsuits, business and commercial disputes, and employment matters. While attending law school, Dave worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Thomas Carlson at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco.
Dave is a mentor in the Tahoe SOS Outreach program helping community youth through experienced based outdoor mentorship. He and his wife Caitlin, a counselor at Truckee High School, grew up close by in Nevada City, and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities.
